Amy’s Communications Class was a tremendous help in my day to day communications on both professional and personal levels. The understanding and importance of establishing rapport, using key words and phrases, being attuned to the senses of self and others are things I now readily use on a daily basis. I also learned powerful methods and tools for teaching: story telling to capture the attention and pique the curiosity of students, using deliberate movements and choice of specific words to anchor that attention and the keen ability to open the perception and periphery of the students. The result is amazing! The interactive style and answers given in a way that requires internal discovery enabled the light bulb of true understanding to visibly illuminate students.
